The green lake in the municipality of Passy offers a unique show below steep mountain peaks. A landslide from the XV century would be the origin of this natural lake, not recommended for swimming. To achieve this pearl, a Sentier de pedestre 6km beginner level will offer stunning views of Mont Blanc. Please note this path can be much more difficult mountain bike. (pebbles impracticable by bicycle over much of the trail, challenging climb)
The resraurant Lake, service questionable, however, offers a quality service at a very reasonable. Expl: 10 euros a fresh salad, composed of feta, tomatoes,pesto,spinach, turnips and celery cooked. Bonus terrace that offers the Mont Blanc views.
